Straight up Burgundy, maybe Volnay-ish. If that's a word. Velvety softness with an intensity that develops.

Bright bing cherry and earth nose. Medium weighted with good underlying acidity. A good wine, but with a bit more complexity would move this wine much higher.

Medium ruby red with a small, evenly concentrated garnet core. Medium intensity pine sap, rose petal, barberry, basil, and menthol. Medium body, smooth texture, balanced medium acid, high alcohol 14.5% throws a noticeable heat across the palate. Medium plus finish features pine and red currant with a mouth-filling, lingering rose petal perfume.

This is exceptional. Whole cluster. Such a unique terroir. Herbaceous and vegetal, dark red fruit, really intense and persistent, damp Forrest floor, meaty, tobacco, fuller bodied Pinot. Really something special. Optimal drinking now.

Randomly had a glass at a bar, piqued my interest. Visited the winery and fell in love. This is a wonderful central coast Pinot with more balance, body, and flavor than I’ve had in that region. The reserve Pinots are even better!

Wish I were a patient person. I think this will be perfect in a year or so. Lovely tonight, but layered depth is waiting to emerge. Beautiful color!
