Color of deep purple, looks thick. Nose of licorice, blackberries, milky vanilla, a bit tobacco leaves, oak note, and some more sweet strawberry. Nose is nice. Taste follows the nose, really mellow, nice minty sweetness, soft tannins, ripe grapes, and some tinkling vanilla. Aftertaste is medium long with a bit more bittersweet note, and a bit peppery. Above average.

Bottle 2 of my bday wine tasting, brought by Lauren and Jack. Delicious! Blackberry, limestone, vanilla. Supposedly licorice but I didn’t get that.
