Planted in 1964, on deep granitic sand, and some on the darker clay loam that’s weathered from limestone. Dry farmed!!!!, head trained, and organic. Riesling roots can go down up to 60 feet. So these vines get their 💦. Dry, 13.5%. Aged in foudre for 10 months. A heirloom. Almost no diesel aka kerosene. Plenty of acid. Jasmine. Not my cup of tea but interesting.
