Deep, full bodied, still reasonably tannic though not overpowering. Fair amount of fine sediment. Black fruits, very herbal, peppery. Took a while to start opening up.

Love the 2011 vintage. This wine as it is very approachable. Notes of berries and old leather and soft tannins.
