Actually its the Napa Cabernet, no name. Its their 2nd label sort of speak, $60.00 wine that fits the taste of an early drinkers drink. Typical Pott wines need years to open up,
Just received it, so I'm taking her for a spin straight off the truck.
No particular vineyard, just a blend of whatever cabs from napa according to their website,.
Its not bad at all, just not distinctive at this very early stage, tastes like a $40-$60 bottle,

Much more approachable then other wines in the Pott portfolio. Cardamom, cinnamon, anise and five spice hit the nostrils. Nice! Roasted coffee and sage on the front of the palate-rolls to the mid with striking acidity, long tapering finishing that highlights dried floral flavors.

Decanted for four hours. Paired beautifully with lamb. Black currants, blackberries, and cassis with a hint of spice. Full-bodied and earthy.

Super tasty tonight. It took about two hours of air to open up, and then just a gorgeous, mid-weight, finessed Cabernet. Really hard to beat this in a Napa Cabernet for $60.

Cherries and black currant, cocoa on the finish. Tannins still a touch youthful. Would recommend at least an hour of decant.
