Sandpiper Red Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

I'd drink a lot more of that!

Took an hour to open. Dark fruit, especially plum and dark cherry.

Solid Napa red blend. Very nice but not exceptional. Is very approachable now.

Much better than the last vintage I tasted. You can really taste the Merlot with the red fruit shining through on the pallet. The use of the partial natural oak also makes it very drinkable right about now as it is softer on the pallet. Cheers.

Another Porter Family wine, a Bordeaux blend at that. Very good wine with strong tannings and astringency. Time will serve’er well.

Red blend. Light but savory.

Full body, dry, balanced. Loaded with dark skinned fruit. Exceptional red blend. Loving my Coombsville wines.

Oak nose. Full body, dry, balanced. Raspberries, cranberries, plum. Excellent!
