This vintage is amazing. Just hearty on the palate. Velvety. Plush. Balanced. Great contrast between just ripe dark and red fruit, tannins and earthiness. Best of five verticals of Barre Azure I’ve tasted. Impressionism on the palate. Cheers.

Very elegant Bordeaux blend and as time dials down the alcohol and smoothes out the oak this will be a gem.

Another Porter delight. 30% Cab Sauvignon, 28% Malbec, 27% Merlot, 14% Cab Franc, 1% Petit Verdot. Intense purple color. Red fruit, vanilla, and oak on the nose. The pallet has the same notes with a velvety bold feel; it is tannic, dry, with high alcohol and medium acidity. Balanced with pronounced oak and a lingering finish. Hard not to like this wine, very round, well structured, persistent finish, just lovely.

Love this blend. Full body, dry, smooth, mild acidity. Loaded with black fruits and strawberries. Get some if you can!
