Santa Lucia Highlands Chardonnay

Pale lemon with simple aromas of stone and tropical fruits with floral spice notes. On the palate flavors of apple and pear with baking spices and toasty oak.Short finish, high acidity ending with mineral fruit character. Just Ok, simple.

Rich and chewy. Fruit driven. Not bad cab for Paso. Price is right.

Why this winter stew calls for a white wine I don’t know. Finishing my cooking wine is the only time I drink white unless I’m being polite to someone. That said, I’d drink this again, maybe without needing to cook with it!
