May 1st, 2015Morellino di Scansano DOCG 2011, 14%. Blend of Sangiovese, aged for a minimum of 12 months in oak tonneaux. Darker ruby color. Tartaric acid gives sapidity, quite brackish. Very interesting!

Apr 13th, 2014Balanced, bright, and delicious! An Italian blend, Malbec, Sangiovese, and Cabernet that's brilliant. This wine is absolutely delightful.

Nov 15th, 2019Light but balanced and flavorful. Just earthy & spicy enough to support beef, but drinks smoothly enough to drink on its own, despite 14%.
Z says 9.0 - 9.1 and really likes that it's organic.
Rob says 8.9 - 9.0
Great value at $20, at Vendome

A bit rough and dirty in the nose. Red fruits, lean, good one.
