Was going to let this one age a bit but my wife wanted to try it. Glad I did as the cork had bled quite a bit. That being said it is drinking wonderfully. Plenty of ripe dark fruit and balanced tannins. Some earthy notes on the nose that follow through to the dry lingering finish. I'll buy another to age.

October 2, 2021. Dinner w/Jack D, Dean, Bridget. Wine no. 1. I have had this several times — first at Allegrini’s Villa delle Torre. 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc. Such a good wine! Dark fruit, smooth balanced tannins. I could drink this all night.
