Needed something to stand up to grilled octopus in garlic and virgin olive oil. This did not disappoint, what a wonderful wine, has the great Tuscan taste for red wine. You can taste the volcanic rich flavors along with the sea air, this is a remarkable wine to drink with Italian food.

I really enjoyed this!
Dark, thick wine where you can really taste the Syrah and tannins. Spicy and full of fruit. Paired very nice with prosciutto wrapped chicken. Definitely young with many years left in it! Not bad at the restaurant list price of £50.
