Pistillo Marche IGT Pecorino

Funky nose, cheese rind. And fairly full bodied

This reminds me that I need to drink more pecorinos. So crisp and a perfect amount of fruit.

Very interesting. Some think rose, others think farm animal, or nuts.

So much happening here. Sour mash on the front. No fruit to be found. Oxidized with a touch of funk. Acidity balanced with a syrupy note. As it warms, white pepper emerges. Did I mention phenomenal with saffron lobster ravioli? Yeah, it likes food and as any Marche white should, screams for shellfish. LOVE this wine.

Fruit forward with silky mouth feel. Not too minerally or acid, well balanced. Would be a great wine for food that benefits from either a red or white (salmon).
