Dolcetto di Dogliani

One of the best dolcetto I've tried. Superb depth of flavour once it opened up. Grippy tannin and gorgeous fruit. Clean and polished. But unmistakable Italian charm and style

Floral aromatics, dried cherry, apple core, and some faint game, smoke and tar. Easy drinker.

Gorgeous spicy red berry nose, medium body with a ripper savoury hit. Absolutely smashed this with costoletto di maiale...

The perfect pizza wine #glouglou. Goes right down the hatch.

It's a nice intro to the Dolcetto grape. A little pricy at $29.

Black cherry, cassis, and smoky bacon with tart, almost harsh acidity. Strong tannins. The dark and tannic impression tends to run over everything else.

Needed 10 min to breathe but really good after. With Colleen and Anthony at home. Recommended by Gary's Wine Dir

2012 Had while out to dinner with my uncle who KNOWS wine. We all liked it very much.
