Young and yummy. Pretty cherry fruit with ample tannins.

Mar 28th, 2019Enjoying with a filet, and the pairing is perfect. Full-bodied and rich, with smooth tannins. Certainly doesn't overpower the steak. Delicious!

Nov 28th, 2016This is the Freisa based blend. It's profile in the palate I can only describe as a black-fruited and riper Langhe Nebbiolo. The wine shows leather, parsley, dried cranberry, liquorice root and mascherano cherry characters. Palate is a mix of being super red-fruited and black fruited at times yet shows some subtle rose and floral character. The tannin is quite aggressive and certainly not for the feint-hearted, in saying that, the acid plays a counteracting juicy sensation. Finish is there. This is insanely cheap too

Sep 20th, 2016A lovely, unseasonably cooler evening enjoyed dining al fresco in downtown Charleston - this Italian blend was a treat, fruity with a slightly dry finish, hints of cherry and blackberry, and very smooth, the perfect compliment to a little ricotta gnocchi. Life is good. PS if you enjoy Italian, this newer restaurant on the CHS scene is very good, very gorgeous, chill, and doesn't break the bank. Just sayin

Sep 5th, 2016Stronger fruit than I expected. Tannins are crisp... I'd let this hang out a couple more years.
