Sadly our last bottle from our trip to Tuscany a few years ago 😩 it is amazing.

Cherry liqueur, mushrooms, white pepper, dried thyme, wood chips, old book bindings, balsamic, sun dried tomatoes. Beautiful round acid/soft velvet tannin balance, medium bodied, silky texture, complex smoky/floral/fruity finish. A shy bottle that took nearly an hour to reveal itself. Decanting recommended. One of the most complex un-brunello Brunellos I've had in a while. Approachable now, has the structure to last a few decades.

Infanticide for sure, but shockingly good nonetheless. Raw cocoa powder dominates all the senses. Powerful leathery nose. Meat lover.
