Been 1.5 years I think since I’ve had this. Roaring nose out of the gates. Big cherry fruit, saddle leather, dried roses, deep mineral imprint, airy and so clean. Dried roses. So many. Smells so old school yet clean. Gonzo out of the gates. Palate is ripe and generous with cigar box, mint and tobacco. So juicy and textured with ripe, generous and abundant tannins. Awesome fruit and depth and terrific inner mouth aromas. So pure and sappy. Amazing freshness. Terrific balance and sense of place. This will be a higher score in 2-5 hours. Book it.

Mushroom, tar, roses, cherry fruit, mineral and so so aromatic. Really gets in the deep nostril areas. Juicy and so so complex with wonderful purity and big tannins. Finish is a hint of licorice and a swarm of cherries. This needs 3-5 years but seems to really be a another winner at this estate.

Just concluded the annual Fall seclusion at our cabin in the Rangeley lakes region of Maine, mobile service up there is mostly non-existent, after several days I am posting again. Notes are somewhat brief, as my focus is relaxing and watching the Common Loons swimming and diving in the cove in front of our camp.
Nose has dried roses, newly paved highway, dry leather, cut cherries, dried spearmint, dry clay soil, dried cigar and dry granite.
Palate has dried black cherry, mahogany shavings, dry/moist granitic soil, dried blackberry, matchstick cut red pepper, abundant fresh cherries with a long finish, slightly dry, many, many years ahead of this bottle.
Decanted 4+hours, more time needed, at hour four it's really starting to launch!
