deep red getting into purple is just an announcement of strong, tannic wine. sure it is. first, decanting is a must, otherwise your tongue will be struck by condensed tannins.
the wine is deep, bold and with ripe flavors. cherry (dark one) and plum are supported with vanilla and oak (i think it’s american oak barrel making this stuff). for me the wine is not complex, without delicate flavor nuances. will not come back.
