Savoury cherries and some cocoa notes on nose. Well balanced. I really like Great Southern Shiraz (WA). Preferable to Margaret River Shiraz in the West Australian sphere. Tasted again on 23 rd March 2018. Lovely earthy savoury cherry nose and palate. Supple tannins. Traveling well at 11 years.

Northern Rhone in style with pepperey meaty savoury notes. On the palate sweet cherry liqueur chocolate notes. Good length with medium intensity. I love the diversity of Australian Shiraz and therefore the diversity of terroir each with its unique profile. This wine from the Great Southern region in WA. A great area for Shiraz, Riesling and Cab blends.

Meaty notes with black pepper. Good depth of flavour and intensity. A great counterpoint to the Barossa "fruit cake" style. Savoury and moreish. 17.5+. Tasted again on 9 Jan 2016. Notes as above with cherries. Medium bodied at best. Soft tannins. Touch of H2S initially. Some spice. Satisfying savoury Shiraz. 91 points.
