Pizzini
King Valley Riesling
We decided to try the local Thai restaurant out (Thai in Sale) recently since we still (!) have no furniture. It’s amazing how much you can take for granted sitting at a table and using proper cutlery. All up it was a great night, we BYO-ed at $4 a bottle and enjoyed this lovely Pizzini 2017 Riesling from Victoria’s King Valley.
It’s a wonderful eye-catching lemon shade on the eye. The nose is vibrantly juicy and fruity with a hint of spearmint leaves. While in the mouth the plentiful fruit flavours married with refreshing citrus which went down with our Penang curry and coconut rice like a treat. A great night of food and wine igniting the palate with an abundance of flavours.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #tcweekdaywine #tctastingnotes
