Very dark purple, deep red wine, and that is so beautiful to see. Perfect nose of grape chewing gum and violet petals. Beautiful wine! Almost full bodied, with great presence. Wonderful red and dark fruit flavors, very well composed in great harmony. Another great surprise tonight. Easy 90 pts. Well deserved.

This wine is clear and bright with a deep ruby colour and presence of legs.

The nose is clean and developing, showing medium intensity aromas of white pepper, chocolate, vanilla, dark plums and hints of lavender.

The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium acidity. It has medium(+) fine-grained tannins and a high alcohol. It has a medium(+) body and medium intensity flavours of white pepper, chocolate, vanilla, dark plums and hints of lavender. The finish is medium.

It is a good quality wine. It has a nice structure and a decent flavour concentration and finish, but not enough to consider it very good, and it could be more aromatically complex.

Drink now, but it has enough tannic structure and some flavour concentration to be kept for 2-3 years, but it is unlikely to develop much more complexity.

Great Mencia from Bierzo! This particular grappe brings its liquorized taste notes with a well integrated oak!

Gabe finds it nice and smooth but uninteresting. We both find it light. A little bit of spark. I found it has a bitter aftertaste. I get a lot of black pepper - both nose and flavor.
