Second new grape variety in a week, this is pale with a slight rusty orange tint that makes it looks evolved. Quite attractive on the nose with rose and tar, but the palate is a let down, with some a slightly sour imbalance of acids. Could potentially pass with food, but I think I’ll just use the rest in cooking.

Nice! Shared a bottle with a friend at Al Gallo Nero on 44th and 9th in NYC! It was medium light in texture, went well with my spinach ravioli.
