First Zin I've had from the old world - not as much fruity "Pop" as you get from California, but this isn't the point - it's a nice, matured version of a great grape. Great initial palette and nice and smooth throughout - less flashy then it's American cousins, but still quite enjoyable.

Dryer wine with a smooth finish like the other person said. Smooth flavor throughout the entire bottle. Very little acidity has hit me. Not overly complex. Alcohol is light on this one and isn't in your face or even slightly noticeable. I would drink this again. For me it is comparable to several $20 bottles but for only $5 it's a steal. Found it while pursuing the $3 buck chuck bin and couldn't have been happier.
