Mycket säregen Chard från avskild liten vingård i Stags Leap. Mörk i färgen och framstår tämligen utvecklad och nötig för att vara så ung. Troligtvis lite oxidativt framställd men håller ihop snyggt. Frukten drar åt röda äpplen, päron och kiwi. Bra koncentration och grusig mineral i avslutet.

Tried this wine with my buddy Marg who remarked that’s it’s more floral than your usual overly Oaked Chardonnay and I would agree. Pine ridge does a great job of making Chardonnay that showcases it’s fruit. This has a little butter to smooth out the back palate but mostly it’s lots of citrus, grapefruit and pears on the tongue.
