Howell Mountain Cabs are always smooth and delicious and this is no exception. A beautiful wine at a reasonable price point ($90) for a single vineyard Cab from an exclusive region.

2003 was a tough year for Napa. I remember lots of rain. I tried not to let that influence my opinion of this Pina Cellars, from my favorite appellation of Howell Mountain. Despite the time and the character, it still came up a little flat on the tongue and without a good finish. Good fruit, tannin and color. Texture was just missing.

Jun 3rd, 201706. Surprisingly disappointing. Nice on the nose but lacked power and the finish was short and flat.
