Nice California Cab from Howell Mountain. Good amount of age and this is drinking well. The oak is still there and on first sip is a bit cloying but with a decant and some cooling that blows off and you’re left with just good fruit.

Black raspberry, dark cola and a hint of olive in the nose. balanced and nicely ripe without heavy extraction - beautiful example of 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon.
