Delectable: This is made by Famille Perrin, not Pierre Perrin - not offered in your choices. Dense dark Ruby in colour - impenetrable. Fairly closed on the nose - I didn’t decant and probably should have. The palate reflects the ripe warm 2015 vintage. One can taste the fruity Grenache, the tarriness of the Mourvèdre and the spiciness of the Syrah - overall a gamey note - only a small % of Cinsault. Had the last bottle 14 weeks later on 5th February 2022 with similar notes.

[30% Grenache, 30% Mourvèdre, 20% Syrah, 20% Cinsault] Raspberry and dried red cherry fruit, some minerality as well, excellent acidity, ordinarily I drink Coudoulet when it’s older (15-20 years typically), yet this just tastes so darn good for a youngish Côtes du Rhône, longish finish, terrific juice!!
