Les Perrières Meursault 1er Cru Chardonnay

Pretty lean and austere with oak that doesn’t feel quite integrated. not very generous

A beautiful classic Meursault with plenty of life left. To bad I can't say the same of the 2008 that is doa.

Pretty damn delicious. Complex and ful bodes with mineral and peach notes.

F'ing gorgeous and delicious. Utterly Meursault. Endless

Delicious. Drinking wonderfully after it opens. Great purity of fruit. Vibrant, and still plenty of room for aging.

Robbing the cradle. :(

Swoon. I had low expectations, but this bottle is singing. Paired with lasagna bolognese, and this played so well with the bechamel sauce. On the nose: lemon, a touch of oatmeal and honey, tangerine, tarragon. On the palate, lovely acidity, tangerine, tangerine pith, wet stone, a touch of ash (like in morbier)...so mouthfilling and dense..lovely viscosity and some good acid on the finish. A lovely, completely mature white burgundy.
