Good Cotes du Rhone Villages. Medium body, flavorful and nice finish. Good simple wine. Very French.

Nose is pretty light. Maybe mineral or stone with ashyness. Can taste different varietals which is unique for me. Sweet cherry underlying tones assuming the grenache. No noticeable black peppercorn from the syrah. Zero oak. Little acidity. Is savory a descriptor cuz its got something I can't describe but think as a sensation. Needs food but not sure what. $15. Katie liked it. Wanted to try a different GSM (was out) learned that French GSM is not necessarily Chatue Neuf de Pape
