2015, pepper and smoked meats. Nice with pizza

This thing needs to mellow a little (relatable; no judgment).

All the black pepper. After giving it a little space, a lot more raspberry comes out. It's nice, it's fine. Extra points for label and price (<$20)

Quite dark and intense for a Cotes du Rhone. Blackberry, slightly meaty and tarry. Tannins are a bit rustic. 70% Grenache, 30% Syrah.

Ashtens wine. WW11 wine.

3/2020. With an ALC of 14.2% I expected a bolder flavor. A good medium bodied wine.

Easy to drink Rhône style wine . Hints of Chocolate. Earthy.

Absolutely delicious! A little dangerous because it’s SO easy to drink. Smooth. Slightly sweet. Subtle. And a wonderfully rich backstory.
