Boisterous, dark fruited, large scaled, definitely showing the heat of the vintage. Some brett and VA coupled with the high alcohol (just doesnt work for beaujolais imo) made for a problematic wine. On the 4th, maybe 5th day, things came together a bit but I was expecting more elegance although this producer does churn out some rustic wines. Tricky vintage I suppose.
