4th wine of my birthday blind tasting. I went completely off-tracks with this one as to me it smelled and tasted like a generic beaujolais... The nose was very muted at first with a bit of cherry and earthy notes. The palate is very thin, with little matter, a flat mid palate, very discreet tannins and a short finish. No trace of the usual notes I associate with saint Emilion or left bank bordeaux wines. After a while, and after the reveal, some green pepper bell popped in the nose. Well, there isn't any flaw but it's boring and generic. A mass production wine with no interest at all.
