Fist time since the cellar and while not closed on the pop and pour the nose is mute. It’s a bit all over the map. Serious bramble and earth. Dried leaves and twigs. All aromas point to closed. Some potent florals but it’s a struggle to find fruit on the nose. But there is an ineffable class to the aromas. Palate is much better but still a bit beastly. Sweet fruit and tannin but man this is ultra closed. I will be back.
