Gorgeous nose. Haven’t had in 2 years. Lemon, lime, crushed rocks, framing oak that is so subtle and masterful. White flowers and saline. Just a stunningly expressive and pure nose. I like the laser focus of the 19’s aromas. Palate is stunning. Concentrated and super mineral. So juicy, pure and layered. The most mineral and concentrated of the 18/19/20 trio. Perfect balance. I think this is the best bottle I‘ve had of Cassaneas. It’s just so pure and focused. The nose, as it airs gets more broad but doesn’t lose any focus. More earthy elements now. So succulent. Like a perfect stream of BB on one’s palate and so saline. The saline and florals give you such a sense of Chassagne. Stunning.

After 4 hours this come alive (even more!) with gorgeous clear liquid minerals on the nose. Smoke and super complex. Palate is so saline and mineral. Luscious and gorgeously long.

I’m sorry I’m advance. I have 1/5th of what I had in 2018 and it’s still largest allocation in the world. So some of you will get shafted.

The usual brilliance on the nose. This is the best BB in the world. Others come close I hear but this is really it for me. Superb florality on the nose. White flowers up the wazoo. Lemon pith, tree bark, superb minerality. Matchstick, flint, lime zest, crushed rocks, a hint of creaminess. And I mean a micro hint. But it’s still there. Huge expansive minerals. So so pretty. Yea that’s the ticket. Superb minerality, texture and more minerality. Superb iodine and salinity. While 18 was more fruity this is more mineral and structured. Just tremendous purity. Amazing balance and terrific delicate concentration. Sappy and mineral sweetness on the finish. And what a finish it is. How does this man make 9.5 BB’s? Just miraculous. Finish is 1er cru level but not as complex. Wow this is so fresh and the acid is wonderful. Just so compact and complete. Sick. Just sick.

Been a while since I’ve had the 17. Nose of flint, green apples and pears. Beautiful purity and perfect ripeness. Ethereal minerals. Concentrated, dense and salty. Wow. What salinity this has picked up. Awesome purity. Just so structured and pure. AmazIng focus and linearity. Just an epic epic finish. So lean yet so luscious. A contradiction in the best possible ways. Best bottle of this yet. Texture is like icing on a cake. Amazingly saline and mineral and cot damn that finish doesn’t give up! So long. Just an unreal bottle. Reference point. A benchmark. A wine even Mr. Bean will drink.

Wow. What a wine. So mineral. Confectionary. Wet stones. Cotton candy. Floral. So juicy, mineral, complex. Rocky. Chassagne vibe. Super high toned. Not really a formal note. So deep. Just incredible.

My first 18 Brisset and OMG does this already blow away the 17 on first sniff. Smells EASILY like a 1er Cru Chassagne. Just a sick and expansive nose. Haunting. Wet earth, wet stones, high toned lemon and lime fruit and zest. Candied pink grapefruit. Amazingly deep. You need to spend 75+ to get a nose like this. Just sick. Meyer lemon is so accurate and detailed here. Sick deep impactful minerals. #Wow. That’s some serious intensity and flavor impact on the palate. And wow the acidity! Legend. This is insane. What structure and depth. Electric! Like stick your finger in an electric socket electric. And leaves a lemon candy sap on the finish that just lingers forever. Wow, such opulence, density and minerality. This is like so much better than a Bourgogne it’s like the label Bourgogne for this wine is some sort of hipster irony. Genius.

Literally next to Chassagne by a few yards. One of the best value White burgs I’ve ever had. Just a stunning wine. Exuberant nose of Apple and pear with huge minerality. Wow. Amazingly clean and dripping with purity. Palate has laser like precision and wonderful acidity and almost a sweetness from the intense minerality and fruit. So complex and juicy with intense structure. What grace and elegance and density. An amazing wine and value. With air it gets gorgeously mineral and super refined with wonderful compactness and just stunningly well made.

This is really awesome. First, lemon cream and kiwi on the nose. The palate is linear at first but builds in volume. A quinine-like bitterness provides the bass note and the perception of sweetness and long acids play so well on top. Such precision. It’s hard not to keep sipping this until the bottle is gone.
