Chateau de Corton Andre Monopole Corton Grand Cru Pinot Noir

Only A small plot of Pinot right in front of the domain in the otherwise white Grand Cru.

Really good, warm spice nose and palate, peppery and earthy too. Fuller tannins than I would have expected, some chocolate or mocha notes mid-mouth or finish. Really tasty.

Monopole in French sound so much more sophisticated than monopoly that Microsoft had. 2007 part of the vertical just plain awesome

It is actually sad to open this wine so early. We need to meet again when we are both more mature
