Lovely Rhône Gigondas. Had it with filet mignon and it went well. The wine has a fair amount of tannins and a bit of alcohol on the nose. But it is smooth. Not super fruity. I would like to try other vintages.

Has a bit of that citrus zest thing going on. Not my favorite Gigondas. Is this indicative of Gigondas terroir or anomalous?
