By the glass at a famous local steak house (prime cut, good meat and perfect rare cooking 👌🏻)
Very strong leather, cherry, almond nose along with a tiny funky thing, almost not in place. It went away with a bit of time. Good acid drive, for a very focused wine but little width and little texture. There are some harsh tannins in the rear but little substance and the finish is good, with fruit and some grip and bitterness, just enough to complement the beautiful NY strip I had but not enough substance to make it great. Slightly disappointing on its own, good with a sublime piece of great beef.

Medium body, smooth finish. Big jammy blackberries with a perfect touch of spice in the finish.

Nice full bodied Chianti, strong skins, spicy finish. Solid choice with a ragu bolognese.

Big earth on the nose after an hour of decanting mid-to-full body for a chianti. Next day lightened up on the body and earth notes. Plum dominant with a hint of raspberry.

Good. Don't over-decant. 10% merlot dissipates too quickly then.
