Incredible aromatics and QPR

A nearly, freaking OPAQUE color reveals a more gentle and inviting nose of rich cassis & hints of blackberry, leading to a remarkably smooth mouthfeel that gently coats the palate while the nose is distracted by all that cassis. The finish is simply a coda to lushness of the wine on the palate. For its price in particular- I am blown away.

Delicious. Textbook Cal Syrah with a hint of northern rhone. QPR!

mid-weight Syrah, nice fruit, prominent floral notes of violets and lavendar, more subtle savory qualities

Sweet purple florals, ripe blue and black fruit. Pepper and spice, and smoked fatty meats. Shows great structural balance and approachability with juicy acid and some grip. Would love to try some of the more singular bottlings!
