Rusty Gate Albariño
Pale lemon in color with a yellow tint.
Nose of citrus, limes, apples, bitter herbs, light honey, spices and light earth.
Medium plus in body and crisp, with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with lemons, green apples, grapefruits, bitter herbs, spices, earth and light vegetables.
Short finish with limes and black pepper.
This is a very unique white wine from Russian River Valley. Spicy and tangy. A nice interpretation on the Spanish Albariño.
Showing a touch of Sweetness on the nose, but fully dry on the palate.
Would be nice to revisit it in a couple years.
A good food wine that will pair nicely with fresh seafood.
A small production of only 5,000 bottles.
13.9% alcohol by volume.
88 points.
$35.
