The nose is a nice combination of fruit and earth, cherries and red plums and a smoked cherry note that follows through on the palate. There's more earthy leaves on the nose than palate, and a good acidity that fizzles too soon. This is light and flirty, fun and with just enough to be neat, not complex.

A rather light-flavored Pinot Noir (baked strawberries and fresh mushrooms) with modest complexity. It's a decent value, but it doesn't deliver the verve of other similarly priced SojomaCoast wines.
