Really nice. Good with a slight chill. This is not the estate, but the Bella Costa vineyard which is lighter bodied. The labeling is annoying. Tart cherries, dried herbs, leather but overall bright red fruits and acidity. Great for pizza night.

Sep 19th, 2026This is not trying to be piedmont. Lighter bodied with big tannin, a lot of fruit fresh and red fruit but also some jam. The flowers and herbs really show mid palate to super long tannin that then ends in strawberries and tart cherries that make you want another sip. This was so good with food. Not like other Nebbiolo from CA. I like that this is just good wine.
