Soft and tea-like with scents of autumn leaves and compost. Enjoyable now - 2010

Beautiful aromatics - so pretty. And so much vibrancy for its seventh year. Cherry blossoms, cranberry, orange zest, subtle nutmeg. Very restrained use of oak great acid. My kind of Burgundy. Thanks Bri!

Power meet finesse. Delicious and more fruit forward but on balance a great layering of blood, iron, meat with wonderful moss and forest floor tones.

Crushed cranberries, maybe a little orange zest?, woody, complex, med acidity, delicate.

This was my fave of the more carbonic Pacalet wines. Really fresh, dense and more savory/spice elements! Very good

Philippe Pacalet 2009 #pommard, spicy, silky, seductive. Vying with the '12 Gevrey-Chambertin for my affection. #toastingParis @storyteller
