Wow. Creamy strawberry with gravelly truffles, herbs, spices (from the oak) and some flowers in a pot of soil. There’s a lot going on here. ‘Masculine’ in style with a rich, long finish. Really evolves in the glass; this is the kind of wine that convinces you red burgundy is something special.
