Very tasty. A surprising amount of tannins for a ‘05. Went great with my pasta tasting menu

Probably the tail end of its good drinking window. Excellent aromatics and actually quite a deeper red color in the glass than expected. A bit muted in fruit on the palate but delicate raspberry comes through with lots of earth. Good acid on the finish. For the age and the price, I’ll take it.

Has all the trademark aromatics of a Nebbiolo from some more well known and more southern regions, but not has tannic and full bodied. Great acidity that almost seems a tad rounded off (not sure the blend of this wine) but I really enjoyed it.

Lighter than most gattinara Nebbiolo I've had. But still solid.

Nice bright acidity, cherry flavors and not too tight for such a young Nebbiolo. Nice nose. Took 20-30 minutes to open up, but really nice once it got going. Enjoyed with some bone marrow and a spatchcock.
