Needs to be thoroughly decanted for maximum flavor and enjoyment. Even better on the second day. This shows why Sonoma soils can grow a world class Pinot. Though Petroni seeks to grow Italianate grapes, I believe this is their best red. Note this is made in the moon mountain district and not the Russian river valley as delectable states.

Petroni 2014 Pinot Noir. The first taste is a mouthful of raspberry and spice. The color is a rich raspberry red. Once the wine opens its buttery and smooth with spice.
