Palia Armakia Robola of Kefalonia

Half of us loved this, the other half not so much. Count me in the first group. Pours a deep yellow, a bit cloudy. Quite rich yet also tense and tight, lemon focused with some yeasty grip. Some orchard fruit shows with time. This has some heft, with a grippy, yeasty finish. Needed a decant. Super complex. Striking and unique. Need more...

Sweeter than expected. Mellowed a bit on the second day and definitely paired better with food than sipping alone.
