I don't try many second wines; hard to know if it's a serious wine or a passable cash-grab. This was worth the spin, possibly aided by a generous vintage. Plum, currant and fines-herbes lead to spice, green tobacco, vanilla and clay. Ripe tannins, moderate acidity and a long finish. 🍒🌿🧱

The amazing Terroir of Bordeaux never disappoints - smooth, subtle red fruit hangs on the back with some tobacco, earth and a hint of dark chocolate on the finish. Pair with a good red meat meal and enjoy the first class transport to the old world…Viva Lá Bordeaux!
