Black currant makes a big appearance here. Dark cherry and hints of oak and vanilla underneath. Surprisingly light tannin. Fruity for a French wine, not exactly what I was expecting, but a pleasant enough surprise.

All right nothing spectacular but may be that it is too young.
I would like to see the varieties listed taste of old world blend with Cab Franc and Cab Sauvignon. Need to let mature.

Inexpensive French wine is still really good. Heavy black currant. Great after a long day of sightseeing and 7 miles of walking. Hoping this makes my feet stop throbbing.

Deep dark red. Earthy, leathery, dry, heavy berries, currants with oak and vines lingering in the background. Strong tannins and long legs walking the vineyard of its ancestors.
