Mesmerizing nose of blackcurrant, creme de cassis, violet, cedar, fresh orange peel, cured meat, and forest floor. Gentle and soft on the entry, with parade of flavors echoing the nose. The full body feels deceivingly weightless on the palate, but with great energy and precision. Velvety tannins. The finish lasts for minutes.
Had the same vintage about 9 months ago, and I found the notes are remarkably consistent. One of the best Napa cabs I’ve tasted. Below is the previous notes.

Slightly acidic on the nose, slight notes of leather. Wow 🤩 wow 🤩 wow 🤩. Silky smooth deliciousness. It’s like a liquid chocolate truffle, so buttery! I’m thinking this wine was opened on the perfect day.

94 from Parker facts, Their newest vineyard acquisition in Oakville has produced the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Au Paradis, which used to be the Showket Vineyard on the red soils of the Oakville corridor near Dalla Valle, Rudd and Screaming Eagle. Aged in 100% Darnajou casks, this cuvée of 2,300 cases is a blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon and 24% Cabernet Franc.
