Smokey sandalwood, cedar, menthol, eucalyptus, tomato leaf, cucumber, paprika oregano and venison, bison, bacon fat nose....I thought this would be right in the wheelhouse for a new world Syrah in terms of vintage and age....on the palate beautifully drinkable,concentrated and robustly structred, rich, dusty, earthy with a suggestion of baking chocolate. LAYERS indeed.

Very drinkable. Soft on the palate. Great structure and savoury depth. Can certainly taste the multi-dimensional layers of Shiraz, Tempranillo, Mourvèdre and Grenache. Great price too!
