Bright, nay, brilliant fruit- tar and roses are soaring out of the glass upon opening. Rich with black licorice, menthol, and almost a truffle-bomb. $65 on a highly marked up chain restaurant wine list--and worth it! Magical with eggplant parm and gnocchi w/ meat sauce.

Enjoyed this wine - great with food - restrained fruit and fine tannins - something different.

Approachable entry level Barolo. The nose reveals a complex bouquet of dark cherries, dried roses, and earthy nuances, with hints of leather and spice adding intrigue. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied yet well-balanced, with ripe black fruit flavors complemented by a distinct licorice note. The fine-grained tannins provide structure, while the fresh acidity ensures balance and poise. The finish is long and mineral-driven.

Super elegant red fruit, with a ton of tannin, aged in Slovenian barrels for 2 years and 1 in bottle. Finishes with an anise edge on roses and red fruit. Decanted and needs more time, filled with tannin
